- Comment from author about the poem: On August 30th, 2023 there was a blue moon hence the title of the poem and I told a crush of mine about it, and she came up with the idea of a picnic and so I thought there were gonna be other people and brought like 8 bottles of water but it was just the two of us. And we just sat on this flat grassy area, listening to songs we had a inside joke with Billie Jean so I played that song and it was probably one of the best memory/moment in recent time I've had.
