Facade

Miss_Dreamer

I go quiet when it's loud in my head

Space with so much screaming

I think I might explode if I start shouting too

Many voices all battling for my attention

Everything I do is bad

Habits prevent me from breaking the cycles

So my only option is to freeze

Up until my breaking point

When people might finally see

Through the calm facade I've been wearing

And witness my inner storm

Clouds that prevent me from seeing the light anymore

When all is raging inside your head, looking for calm in my opinion, is the wisest option. Those voices can be so distracting and time consuming. Let the storm pass. Let there be peace.

      Thank you for your words

Why not let all hell break loose? Those who love you will stay anyway. And those who don’t... well they don’t deserve you then. Sometimes you have to break to pull yourself up again. After all, it is at our lowest that we find our true selves.

Oftentimes it feels as if all that's holding me together is that control. What if I let go and I lose even the last scraps of who I am? To be quite frank, I don't have a lot to lose, but somehow I'm still so scared. Weird right? Thank you though for your kind words and insights
