The Sky

mtrotter1

I kiss the lights so blue

And I can remember you

Dancing in the shadows with your fate

And you wear tiny roses

And they're killing me softly

I feel your face in the wind

I hear your song playing

This heart, this heart that wears your jeans

Caressed by a gentle kiss

Is lured into subscription,

Would you mind my jurisdiction?

For the sky is the sky

And it is blue

False accusations come at a cost

She stares into the bright blue light, the pink rose

For she blooms...

And she blooms...

And she blooms...

Until the darkness grows taller

And she sees the wind falter,

It is you

Whom she never forgets...

That kingdom in the sky

The rushing waters

The joy that speaks to my soul,

I love you and only you

As I hold the sky in my heart

Tenderly and wholeheartedly

I will gladly die

For you...

Oh roses don't pay me no mind,

For my mind is covered in roses

I trust the sky

With all my might

As the ages begin to roar

Oh I trust the sky

You and I

Are forever in love.
