Gifts

Bishop M.

Dreading the day you leave

You are graduating soon

I'm very happy for you, you best believe

But the way I feel about you, will hit like a monsoon

I already know it just isn't feasible

But with the memories and moments we made

A future of us is just unreasonable

Sadly, I don't think it will just fade

Rather a reminder of what ifs

"What if I were to go with you"

"What if it could work out too"

I'll just remember those moments as gifts

As we go our own way into the unknown

Just know if you ever need anyone, you won't be alone

Partings are never easy. An appreciation of a relationship here, where the circumstances are about to change. The future will be different, but the love stays. Nicely conveyed lines.
