Dead-Ends

Dead-Ends

There is a road that leads into the wood

Where once the old and tall oaks stood

Progress invading natures rhythm and rhyme

Causing a shift in the dimension of time

Taking us places we’re not intended to go

While interrupting life’s natural ebb and flow

Alas then the chaos of mice and men

Leads only to another and fatal dead-end
