Animal Life

Dr.Suryaraju Mattimalla

“Dairy is a scary form.
Where living creatures
Spent its lost moments
The last time
She felt the Sun
To please every human appetite
It is a horror site.
The worst scream
I have never heard
By far, a mother cow
By far, a mother pig
By far, a mother buffalo
By far, a mother dog
By far, a mother cat
By far, a mother of a living creature
She is screaming her lungs out.
Her heartbroken
Day after day, day after day
For her stolen baby to be given back to her
She is screaming out.
Crying out, dying out
Bleeding out, praying
Begging out, pleading out
She is helpless in front of our human cruelty.
Her pleading, prayers, and screaming futilely in front of our appetite
Just like I cried, screamed, and died.
When I lost my two babies
To honor killing and racism”
