Dreaming Of A Past Workplace

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Not sure why I'm back here,
Instilled with righteousness and not fear.
It's been 8 years since I left,
Face full of anger and I detest.
Called to the office front,
What do these idiots want?
Something about a missed appointment.
I start to spout off harsh words and vent,
Leading to an argument,
Never saw eye to eye with management.
Uncle Benny appears from Lethal Weapon 4,
Asks for my headset number but nobodies sure,
Then I wake up and can't remember any more.
What did he want to tell me?
Might drift back off for a part 2, maybe.
