Human Nature: Part 1 - Pandora's Box

poetryismusic

Humans, oh dear

They are cruel

Unforgiving

Selfish and unkind

They see things they want

Take it

And scream "MINE"

When someone says no,

They stuff their mouths with bills

They see the beauty of the world

And make cities from its hills

They find pain

And drag it home

To inflict on others from their throne
