Christmas Rhyme

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

It's the time for cheer,
Put your feet right up here and grab a beer,
Big beard like Father Christmas or King Lear.
Trying to basically compose a Christmas rhyme,
December 25th is when presents all align.
Thoughts for the less fortunate,
Watching Christmas Carol with Patrick Stewart,
Memories of playing Q*bert,
Be about spreading love and not hurt.

I can't grab an alcoholic beer. It upsets my tummy. lol.

    • Shaunmatthewcpoetry

      Oh dear.

      • orchidee

You having a gin - or three?!

        • Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Tonight? Maybe haha. I was actually thinking about drinking that, are you psychic?

          • orchidee

Nope, not psychic, just the eccentric 'English' thing, e.g. 'Old Mr/Mrs X is on the gin again!' Well, Waitrose are always on about it. The Co-op may not even know what gin is, let alone stock it.
Mentioning psychic, a guy on a quiz show did not win. Did he say 'Well, I wasn't psychic enough to see the answers'? lol.

            • Shaunmatthewcpoetry

              Hahaha!

              • orchidee

Yes, fortune tellers stall on TV shows. If asked 'Will you win?' They say 'um, ahh, erm, don't know!'.
