While I am living

Tia Natasha

Roses were meant for the living; For them to smell.
Give it to me when I'm alive
Not when I am dead.

I want to behold the beautiful petals and smell the sweet aroma they give
I want to see your smiles and feel your warm and tender love.

Say sweet words to me now
When my ears can actually listen,
It will make my heart merry and surely make my day.

Shower me with gifts and medals
When I can embrace them with joy and happiness while in the land of the living.

Visit me when I am sick and helpless
So I'll know that you care.

I won't want to miss out on anything, you see, while I am still breathing.
