Did you forget?

Vee.

When I first laid my eyes on you I wish I knew how much it would hurt when you left.

It's hard to grieve a living person.

You're near but I can't touch you.

You're speaking but I can't hear you.

You're alive but I can't see you.

You tossed us away like it was nothing making my heart endure the pain of the memories I used to laugh and smile about.

Now I think back to when you said you loved me along with other promises that I thought were endless.

Your face is engraved into my head and your name is engraved into my heart like initials on a tree that you carved into me at first with joy and then with agony.

You tell me sweet words one day and treat me worthless the next.

 Did you forget?
