THE TRUTH IS LOST FOREVER

   She was the only one who knew the truth

The truth that was hidden for years and years

The truth that caused people to die,

The truth that imprisoned me,

The  truth is gone forever.

 

The truth has disappeared,

The only one who knew who?

She is dead.

She is dead without spelling out who it was.

 

We will never know whom it was,

We will never understand why?

We will never discover the truth

Which makes me guilty for ever

But deep down I know .

 

I know that I am innocent

even though no one believes me

I always claim my innocence but she who  knew the truth is dead

The truth is lost forever.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I dedicate this to everyone who is innocent but there is no one who can believe him/her because the people who know the truth aren't speaking or they are not even alive anymore. I want to tell you that one day everything will fall in place don't worry. just keep being a great person you are.
