Dancing words

Dr.Suryaraju Mattimalla

Words have life.

When you water them,

With truth, morality

Equality, liberty, fraternity

Democracy, human rights, peace,

Love, compassion, humanity,

Nonviolence, safety

They cherish life.

When words dance

They cherish life.

Words have death.

When you hurt them,

With your brutal words

Hate letters, truth-less words

Empty words, demeaning words

Damaging words, destroying words

Dehumanizing words, humiliating words

Threatening words, Holocaust words

Genocide words, casteist words,

Honour killing words, lynching words

Words bleed and die.

Just like our living creatures.

Words have heart.

When you destroy

Its meaning, its scope

Its spirit of peace

The soul of the word

Words break into a cracked mirror.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Life and death of a word: animal lives matter; do not kill them and do not eat them. They do have lives like humans. ============================================================================================================================ “Never Again 2010, July 4, October 7”. 2010 is the year my first baby was a victim of honor killing in India. It is Hindu terrorism against humanity. July 7, 2023, is the date when my second baby boy Stanford was killed by forceful vaccination by a German gynecologist in Germany, and October 7, 2023, is the modern holocaust of the Jewish community committed by Muslims, in which crimes against humanity and crimes against peace have taken place.
