Boy

shadowbones

I remember before this started

The days would float on like dreams

I was a child

Take me back to that place

The extension cords and the pills

Pouring gasoline

Fluoride drink and this device

Cut curling iron, frayed wires

Away from when this began

Days bled through

In my head, the evil place

I dont want this anymore

Glutton for fantasy

Outside the hateful world

Outside this awful box

I would draw and create

Everything for you to save

It almost all spills out

Buried deep

Get away

Boy

Great use of imagery and language to paint your scene with words.
