Reminiscing

Bishop M.

Reminiscing of a time

Of you and I

Underneath the blue moon night sky

Stinging, like an open wound and the juice of a lime

Reminiscing of a time

Of you and I

When you lip synced the comedy show, I can't deny

It looked like you were a mime

Reminiscing of a place

Of you and I

In that big open field with nothing but space

Wishing to go back and see that look in your eye

Reminiscing of a place

Of you and I

When I asked you out, the look on your face

You aren't in the right spot was your reply

Reminiscing of what could've been

I don't know if its possible but I still have hope within
