A Poem that doesn't rhyme

Josy

Notice of absence from Josy
I come here once in a blue moon don't expect there to be much

I always liked the sun more
Even when the moon would becon
I would feel gulty, if i turned,
If i betrayed her

You called me your sun
And I was elated
I always liked the sun more,
But you love the moon

So I switched the roles,
Sly as i was made
You are the sun
And i bask in your light,
Claiming your sanctuary
As my very own
And you said I saved you,
But I only reflect you

I won't betray you,
If I won't reflect your light
I am turning from myself
Catch me loving arms!
Embrace me tender rays!
I always love you more
I always liked the sun better

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this in 5min after convincing my partner that they are a sun person kinda makes me sad because i always liked the sun better but it also makes me glad that i have found my consistent other half...i might write more on this concept
