Beauty And Praise

mtrotter1

You love deeply

My solemn face

For I want you to kiss my roses

And that's not a mistake

Love be prey for me tonight

Behold the solemness of our revelry

To dance is to dance

With you alone

I find myself in happenstance

With you--

Oh sweet davenport

The love of all loves,

May you be imaginary in my heart

For beauty brings such ease

To the eyes of a wondering heart

Those true miracles

Cannot be lies...

I am anxious and emotional

Yet the heart's wreck is mature,

Be anxious in the heart of love

The ceiling is made of stars

For beauty and praise

Are such nonsense,

Let us keep them for the love inside--

For I love you more

Than love itself,

Dear God

I love you

And only you.
