Radiance

ryanhimself

When she enters a room, the light of the sun shines round about

She is radiance itself

Her smile is that of one million candles, illuminating all darkness

She causes all shadows to fade

Her lips move, and brings forth an angels voice

Never speaking what is unseemly

Her eyes are a black hole, sweeping soles away

Lost in her vast beauty

Her hair flows down, like the purest chestnut wool

A natural pillow for a queens head

Her soft white skin glows, and her warmth can kindle a blaze

She is a purifying fire

Her beauty cuts to the hearts of men, but with a sword of purity

She is of modest dress

Her gait is captivating, she walks in ellogence

There is no other of her class

Her strength can move mountains, and her knowledge ascends the stars

Only God could sculpt such art as she

Her every movement is pure, worthy of astonishment

She is an inspiration to all people

When she leaves a room, the light then is gone

She is radiance itself

You describe radiance so well here. When it walks in and out of the room, you know it. This poem speaks to me of a confident woman who knows her worth. You are awe struck by her beauty. She is a treasure. Nicely penned poem.
