The Unheard Voice: A Journey to Self-Discovery

GeekSusie

In a world painted with colors of conformity,

A young girl sat in silent solemnity.

Closeted emotions, a canvas yet unstirred,

A story yet unwritten, a voice yet unheard.

Amongst whispers of affection for the boys in the crowd,

She, a quiet observer, veiled by a shroud.

Her heart fluttered not for the male gaze,

But bloomed in the presence of the feminine grace.

Mirrored in her dreams were tales untold,

Of a love as fierce, a bond as bold,

Yet in a world unready for her confession,

She wept, shackled by her own discretion.

She yearned to feel the sun's touch on her truth,

To live without the pretense of her youth.

Yearned for love's spectrum, broad and wide,

Yearned to no longer in shadows hide.

Her desires were whispered to the moon above,

Dreaming of the girl she dared to love.

In her heart, a silent plea for acceptance,

A call to love, without any pretense.

The whisper of a prayer, a rainbow's birth,

She vowed to love freely, as vast as the earth.

To challenge the norm, to upset the 'right',

To be herself, with all her might.

In time she found, in the mirror's reflection,

A woman of strength, love, and affection.

Her journey, though marred by the fear of derision,

Had led her to self-love, and clear vision.

Now, in radiant light, her truth she unfurls,

A beacon for all the closeted girls.

The girl who once hid, now stands with pride,

A testament to a journey, a courageous stride.

Though born in a world that had been unkind,

She left a trail for others to find.

A testament of resilience, strength, and grace,

A champion for love, in every place.

Now, she knows, she was never alone,

Her truth echoed in many a silent moan.

And so she reaches out, with an open hand,

To the closeted hearts in every land.

In feeling different, she had found her place,

For love knows no boundaries, no race.

In her heart's solitude, she had found her kin,

In being different, she had found her win.

So here's to the girl, who found her way,

Out of the closet, into the day.

With every sunset, and every dawn,

A symbol of pride, a love reborn.
