I would... if she would let me.

epiloger

i would rush
if she would let me
i would wait
if she would ask
i would jump
if

In the silence of the falling snow,
Whispers echo, soft and slow.
Let it go, the weight you bear,
A burden shed, a breath of air.
Release the grip of yesterday,
Embrace the now, let worries sway.
In letting go, find a tranquil space,
A journey forward, a newfound grace.
The past may linger, shadows cast,
But freedom blooms when anchored in the vast.
Let it go, with each exhale,
In the dance of life, set sail.

  • Comment from author about the poem: this poem was supposed to be about the speed and pacing of a relationship. the boy is eager. he's prepared and he would do anything. but he doesn't. he waits. for her. he wants her to take just one step and he would then cross oceans. I am having trouble getting back in the mindset of when one night I started writing this, but if any of you think, it looks interesting and you can relate, go ahead. give it a try.
