Greatest Species

penprophet

There was a zoo where greatest species found

as the name said, my thoughts were bound

whether it's a lion, elephant, or the strongest hound

I looked around, When I got there, I lost ground

It was a species which can run, talk and sense

they could even feel depression and unexcused absence

there was nothing there except human presence

There were people, strolling in the cage

Seems, they were boiling in their quiet rage

In that zoo, auction of people were going on the stage

of the people of marriageable age, some show signs of old age

but women of young age were top on that page

"They should be with their families" I thought

"exploring countries and making memories" I thought

"competing with friends and opposing their enemies" I thought

but they were locked in a concrete cell

no one will hear them, no matter if they yell

their strength was behind the bars

Just hearing to patrolling cars and gazing at the stars

There are debates on the end of this world

some say with fire, some say with ice

from what I've seen the lust, greed, cruelty and desire

anyone of those would suffice
