The Poetess Hong-Rang

Kinsley Lee

Even when a man departed and a new one came,
There's no affection only unilateral service.
Kyungchang admired the kisaeng's skill in poetry
And song, even she's owned by government office.
When parting, they responded to each other in verse, and she walked
Five hundred miles to visit and nursed when he's ill,
But after his death, she even disfigured her face
Herself and everyday cared for his tomb in chill.
