Drowning

kate.povetina

I thought that i got rid of it,

I thought I blocked it out.

But somehow it all came back,

Don't know what it’s about..

I’m suffocating

I'm drowning

I’m suffering.

I’m trying not to feel,

I’m trying not to look

Into your eyes

And at your hands,

Your face

And down your back..

I'm trying not to look at you.

I’m drowning,

Suffering,

Suffocating.

I don’t know what you're feeling,

I can’t read you like a book.

But somewhere in my head

I'm hoping you're the same.

This tension and this aura

That's circling around,

I hope you feel it just as much

Suffering,

Suffocating,

Drowning…
