I swim in a lake, just for it's own sake
The usual bunch all chatting with excitement
A quite moment of expectancy before taking the plunge
You either do it or you don't
Cold sensation takes your breath away
A feeling not many people get to enjoy
Get into your rhythm and embrace it
Everyone you pass has a smile
Look at the quite beauty and savoir it
But don't linger
Getting out you hear laughter
Everyone talks of a shared experience
Hot chocolate then off into your day with a smile
Best 10 minutes of the week
