Unwanted

Over your shoulder,

You look back at me,

You smile warmly,

Excited for what may be.

 

My smile reassuring,

Our hands part with soft sway,

Me heart goes with you,

As you walk away.

 

Yet please don't look back, 

Because my tears will show,

They'll spoil this moment,
