Unseen

Notice of absence from Gg_a_poet
Currently back in school in many extra curricular activity's I will try to make time to write love you

In the depths of exhaustion, a poem unfolds

Of being used for my body, a story untold

Once a vessel of beauty, desired and sought

Now burdened and weary, my spirit distraught

In the realm of desires, I was objectified

A commodity sought, my worth simplified

My curves and my features, mere tools of desire

But within me, a fire, pleading to aspire

The weariness pervades every ounce of my being

Used and discarded, no longer worth seeing

For I am more than my body, an empty shell

Aching to break free from this agonizing spell

My soul, unseen and yearning for release

Craves to be cherished, to find inner peace

To be valued for virtues, not just hollow charms

To be seen as a person, not a body in arms
