She walks in the streets
But she doesn't say nothing
Notorious is the house she lives in
There are whispering voices all around
If you were to ever live anywhere
This wouldn't be the place
For mystery is all around us
And its many states;
One morning there would be yelling
And one night there would be murder
To catch a thief would be hideous
For they always get away
Def monkey selling drugs on the streets
For he is a little boy without structure,
Def monkey fighting with his homies
And nobody cares...
Homeless people fighting in the streets
For nobody cares...
Def monkey is everywhere
Lord help me if he chases the stars away
And the clouds seem so loud
For the noise is utter destruction
And the rage is limited without cause;
Def monkey on the streets fighting every day
For welfare is no joke
Politicians be trippin'
'Cause they don't know what they talkin' 'bout;
And def monkey swears
By the pain he's living
For he leaves no legacy behind
And the girl in the wayward house
Is dead...
Prostitution everywhere,
Where are the roses when they're dead?
I wonder about the institution in my mind
And suicide is legal,
Just ask these shady politicians
For love is a third world country.
