False Image

Introverted Sage

Painted picture in your head - you got it wrong.
Everyone I meet - sings this same fucking song.

Do I have to look and act like you to get along?
Judgement and accusations must be sent to make me strong.

A fight is what they all seem to want.
Poke the bear, taunt the bull - I'd rather not.
Don't come with brakes and pull out all the stops.
Don't fan the flames - these coals burn hot.

So judge on with your discriminating eye.
You'll meet your own judgement - when it's your turn on the pyre.
Stand up proud - seen straight through your lies.
Money and greed - preyed on your pride.

If we were to judge ourselves we wouldn't be judged.

It's a wierd feeling.. especially with the whole 'judge lest' bit..

That's the point. The world's doing a Fauci, it's not here, it's down there with the rat's and dogs and all that filth!

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

The lessons we learn looking in the mirror and at our surroundings.
