Washington square

Lorenz

A few  notes from a banjo

 smelling like gunpowder ,

grimacing like storm to come ,

lightning and rage next stage ...

In the tangled agenda of my memory,

a haunting little   melody ...

And suddenly saxo,clarinet  and trumpet

enter the fray  ! You'd like a fight ?

A few notes of banjo  ,lonely tremolo

in new mexico ,amid broken glass  and blows !

It was feeling in the air at the end  !

I love those notes that hit  the spirit

like  drops of acid , what a dizzy spell !

In the square a guy sits on the hero monument,

warming up his dose of oblivion...

A few notes of a banjo ,lies and illusions ,

stomped out was the futility  of the story ,

 Just  manly  thing ...
