In the search of myself

PRAGYA

In the Search of Myself
The night sets softly,with the
hush of falling leaves,
Casting shivering shadows on
the houses through the trees,
And the light from the street
lamp, paints a pattern on my wall
Like the pieces of a puzzle or a
child’s uneven scrawl.
Up a narrow flight of stairs in a
narrow little room.
As I lie upon my bed in the early
morning gloom
Impaled on my wall, my eyes can
dimly see,
“The pattern of my life and the
puzzle that is me.”
The thoughts in my mind are
tangled over years,
I think to resolve it everyday, but
my fears push me back.
Am I afraid of the unknown?
Or have just compartmentalized
myself to avoid any confusion.
Amidst thousand thoughts of
mine, I find my heart all alone
searching through the streets;
Wandering for peace.
And now I realize, why it takes
me so long to socialize
Because somewhere I complete
myself all alone,
Surrounded in a happy zone.
Gradually and slowly I search for
myself everyday realizing it’s the
only way.

    From one introvert to another.
O use my time searching, dealing, and deleting.
    And finding!
