Smile

SherinMary

Smile

Early morning waves, rows

of thin green grass fresh

Dew drops sprinkled on to the earth,

some on stones

hard hearted.

Slowly sun’s rays make way

through the grass

on to that wet spot tickling

the hard stone

that now beams a shining smile.

Squirrels scurry past,

pause to smile back.

The garden glows in colours

of bright smiling flowers

woken up by chirping sparrows.

Robust beside a gurgling stream

plants hide the tiny sunbirds and smile.

Calm fragrant mornings

remind you to keep smiling all day!

Every day!
