Tune: St Denio
('Immortal, invisible, God only wise')
*********
Psalm 96 v.11-13
Heaven and earth rejoice, some fresh praise begin
The seas, land, creation, and all that therein
Rejoice before the Lord, He comes to judge sure
With righteousness and truth, and holiness pure
Psalm 97 v.1-2
The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice and be glad
All creation join in, not stay ever sad
Clouds and darkness are round about Him, and see
Foundation of His throne righteous judgement be
Psalm 98 v.1-2
O sing unto the Lord a new song freely
For He has done great things, worked marvellously
By strength of His arm He has gained victory
Has made know His salvation, true, openly
Psalm 99 v.11
Exalt you the Lord God, and at His footstool*
'Tis the earth, worship Him here, praise to Him all
For He is holy, praise Him in whate'er place
You may be, what nation, what colour or race
------
* Heaven is seen as the place of God's throne,
and Earth as His footstool.

- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 11.11.11.11. A 'new song' as in stanza 3. In the 11's format, the hymn cleverly rhymes in mid-lines as well as at the end of each line, though these are separated into shorter lines in the video.
