Can There Be A Life Without You?

Aarya Zaladi

I reached love's height, carefree in affection,

Life became a joke, lost in all directions.

Returned victorious, all alone in reflection,

Like a forgotten flower, missed our connection.

A simple question haunts my mind,

Forget or remember, an answer to find.

In thoughts of you, every line I write,

Should I ask, to make my feelings light?

A question looms, simple yet deep,

Your move, a secret, I aim to keep.

In your silence, joy feels incomplete,

Guide me through, make our paths meet.

In this city of dreams, where do you reside?

My heart searches, no place to hide.

Hold my hand, we will walk along the countryside

No destinations or paths, just us side by side.

Pride or thought, a home so true,

A single path, seeking only you.

Where are you now? I wish I knew

End this longing, come back, be my view.

A life without you, if it's true,

Should I think or forget about you?

Stars counting the dawn, where are you?

End this silence, make my dreams come true.
