A Field Of Flowers

BeeePoetry

Tall grass of varying shades of green
Crowned by flowers like kings and queens.
Each blade and each flower so lonely and free,
Sway in the breeze gentle as could be.
Walking through the settlement
Lost in one’s own detriment,
Sadness sunken like sediment,
Being freed by the crumbling walls
Of her trustworthy battlement.

A pretty field of flowers,
So simple and so plain,
Clears the mind of troubles,
Clears the mind of pain.
