Extreme Introversion

Introverted Sage

Have you ever met an introvert?
There's more than meets the eye.
Most the time you'd never tell.
They wear a well disguise.

Meeting with an introvert is really something rare.
When they step outside - onlookers only seem to stare.
Making up their stories on how they are and what they like.
Giving dirty looks - no words - must be their pride.

But the introvert lives by different rules.
Finds it hard to relate, always made to play the fool.
Tried to open up - to a world that cannot hear.
Belittling every simple idea has bred a crippling fear.

Left to their device better within then with and still out.
Cooped up in the tiny house relations suffered drought.
Now the world is different, so much worse off than before.
Reversed their way back to the house slamming the front door.

No one ever sees the light, they're trained to see the dark.
Even right into their face, not one could see a spark.
So the introvert just cries watching them parrot all their lies.
No matter how hard they try, more grew towards the despise.
