Inspiration

Ellen Marsell

Mysterious dimension whers words and images merge in a maze of emotions.
Painting in the light of the indoor seasons, feeling lost on an unplanned journey
on life's unstable chess board...
Inspiration is holding a ghostly hand through the mirror that separates us from
a desirable body that thought draws...
Inspiration has the impermanent colors of the imagination, melody from nowhere
that sometime breaks out into a mad symphony...
From the craddle to white hair, it crosses life and continuous on its way beyond...
Inspiration takes its time, capricious and heady but so easy to seduce...
And you, charming stranger, unknown and yet so familiar, will you be my next inspiration?
