Glow Worm

Introverted Sage

Public enemy number one.
Everywhere I go someone tries to keep me under their thumb.
Sit here, do this, don't do that, nothing I ever do is ok.

Critque how I live, my choices and what I have to say.
But sit and line up to watch me everyday.
It must be some sick joke - when I have such disdain for attention yet seem to attract it everywhere I go.
Do I fucking glow? Does my discomfort show?
Can't hide myself fast enough as these wounds continue to grow.

A fine poem. I hear you. Too many people sticking their noses in and judging people.
