Life Sucks

mtrotter1

I just want to touch your soft sheets in the morning,

Is that too much to ask?

I can hear your eyes screaming at me

Through fondled love...

And your heart beats like silk

Caught up in an unwavering storm

And flowers don't look like this

When tears are streaming down one's face,

For they are tongue-tied and alluring

Sweet Jesus I'm ill

For there is nothing like a broken piano

on the skids;

Oh baby can we walk down the altar?

I want to feel the roses bleed

For thorns are as intense as they seem

And I am tied at the seams

Looking for everything

That is golden,

And the bed has tainted wings

Won't you take me to heaven,

Where freedom is the ultimate mark

And the skies are perfect

Soon the teenage years

Will come back to haunt us

For there is no perfect love under the sun

Oh keep me in temptation--

I must insist

For we only exist in our minds

And now the past is forced to drill us

Shall we pass the test?

For screaming is ugly

When it comes from you--

I wonder if we can survive

For life is a wanderless road

At this point,

Can my rose falter in the rain?

I often concur

For my bones are too fragile for this

For I died last night...you know

For my time has expired beautifully.

Oh rose bleed,

bleed for me rose.

I shall keep you

In my treasure chest

Where secrets often rot

In the dirt.

Oh don't be a clown about this,

For I want to know

Your secret agenda,

Do you or don't you

Kill me?

Life sucks.
