From the Beginning to the End

markziff

I wake every morning,

My first thoughts are of you.

I eat my breakfast,

Wishing I had made it for two.

I go about my day,

My thoughts are of you,

feeling empty & lost,

Wishing once more to be two.

I lay in bed,

My last thoughts are of you

I toss & turn,

Wishing there were bodies two.
