“Same Flame”

Nicole H.

We think the same,

He could be my twin flame.

Dark brown hair,

Such an intense stare.

Keeping me awake,

Not knowing what could be at stake.

When I thought about love, I imagined hearts,

But I only see stars.

Rain hitting the pavement,

As we kiss below the streetlight.

Your mom’s calling your phone,

She’s asking when you’ll be home.

She remembered my name,

Because she believes we’re twin flames.
