Lady

Jenifaw

This lady’s a survivor

Doing the best she can

She raises her babies with love in her heart

But look in her eyes

That’s where her pain resides

This lady has strength

She’s always been strong

Wearing a mask to help her along

She can be tough like a man

But she’s scared underneath

Her heart is pure

That’s for sure

She feels the truth other do not see

If you knew what she’s been though

You would wonder how did she pull through

Nothing can stamp out her light, she keeps shining bright

Women can be amazing in the face of adversity. When the chips are down, they can find strength they never believed they had. Many women are born survivors , especially when they have children to care for. A powerful write.
