A Parable Of The Unwise Farmer

John Lee

Though a successful business thrives

In this way it also dies..

It's like the unwise farmer

Who had eighteen mules

Six goats and twelve bales of hay

He saw that the goats ate much

So he fed them eight bales

He looked to the mules

He saw that they've become weak and slumber

Though they're great in number

He fed them less in anger

So to them only four bales

The mules became even hungrier

From the goats eating their labor

So they broke through the fence

Then ate from it's neighbor

The neighbor grateful for the new mules

Giving them their own place with it's own bale

Leaving the unwise farmer with goats

That eat without labor

With no time to find and train new mules

He must sell the goats

Lose the farm and work for another.
