To Whom It May Concern PT. Approximately

PaperFlowerFields

Lets begin
With some approximation of
What you have done

Wormed your way under my
Skin
Into my
Head
As you fight through my blood to reach my
Heart
You'll find it tart

I've soured towards you
All of you
And all the bullshit you think you can do
You play me like a banjo
Stringing me along like a harp
Until I'm out of tune

Tear me in two
Just to see how I might fall apart
How far can you saw a person
In half before they pass?

Dead to you
For all the stupid things you make me do
Pin me against people
Push me to a wall
And stick me there

Bleeding out but ever numb
I swear
You've gotten on every last nerve till
There was nothing left
To spare

I don't know which party's worse
I can't tell if you were a blessing or curse
I can't wade through all my thoughts anymore
I'm just not sure

To many waves
They pound against my head
Try to dislodge
Both of you
I can't think clearly with these sand lice
Unsure

How to proceed with this life anymore

I fight a fight I can not win
There's always a losing team
But I'm not on one because both of my options

Are barely conceivable as that

I fight and claw and dig and bite

Like a rat

But nothing I say or do seems to matter

None of it leads anywhere

I'm out of life to spare
