Afraid of shadows

Afraid of shadows

In the twilight's dance, shadows silently creep,
Whispers of darkness, secrets they keep.
In corners they linger, elusive and sly,
Fears born in shadows, where truths often lie.

Afraid of the darkness, the unknown it weaves,
A tapestry of secrets, the mind often grieves.
Yet shadows are fleeting, illusions they cast,
Chasing the sunlight, a dance that won't last.

Fear not the shadows, for they're but a shade,
Reflections of echoes that time has made.
In the heart's lantern, let courage ignite,
For shadows dissipate in the warm glow of light.
