spring verse

jim56

wake me when its spring let the winter go
when the weather warms and there is no snow
let me see the flowers pushing through the ground
reaching for the sun from the underground

let me hear the robin sing is springtime song
happy and content as he bobs along
let me see the sun sending down his ray
shining down on me on a lovely springtime day

Oh I'm with you there Jim. A Winter person I'm not. 🥶

    Beautiful use of the senses.

A reminder of what is just around the corner. A warming poem of soon to arrive spring, so very welcome on a very cold winter day. Visually beautiful and bird song is a delight any time of year. Nicely penned Jim.
