The Girl of Steel

Morgana

She wears cuffs and collars adorned with spikes.

Her makeup is dark and dramatic.

She wears band tees with cut sleeves, paired with ripped jeans and battle jackets

Black Demonias on her feet.

She keeps a stone-cold expression on her face and pays no mind to those around her.

People avoid her because of her cold exterior.

But beneath her ice-cold face and skin tough as steel;

Lies a scared little girl, unable to heal.

She is hidden in the corner of her mind so guarded.

With wounds she had for years, yet still fresh and bleeding.

She has been cracked and shattered, held together with rusted staples.

Her body adorned with bruises and scars that still ache.

She trusts no humans, for they are the cause of her broken soul.

Her heart knows no peace, it’s still stuck in a war.

A war not yet over, so her mind grows colder.

Her face forever tear-stained from gut-wrenching loss.

She was harmed by her ‘protecters,’ her parents, her blood.

But they were never a family, not even close.

Their last name being the only thing they have in common.

She is a soft and kind person, raised by creatures so rotten.

A girl so misunderstood, a girl feared and ostracized; yet she is still a child in need of love.

Hoping someone will help her meet those needs, hoping someone will understand.

She is a scared little girl, still haunted by her past.
