This Striking Sensation-

Hope Skeldon

Notice of absence from Hope Skeldon
Don't miss me too much! Bye!

This striking sensation-
Of kindness and immortality
When told by a bee
Sounds just as sweet as honey
His skin of velvet
When pressed with mine
So unknowingly
Yet as if he knew, absolutely!
That I would be his certainly
A love song in reality
That he alone has shown me
And if this man were wine
Dare I say how drunk I'd be.
A life of lush-
No luxuries lost
Only him and me
This is how I feel-
Naked from his perfume
All senses severed plush
And unearthed with dignity
For all I knew was to survive
But I'd been plucked and-
Taught in one night's time
To inhale and exhale
Preciously.
