Nature's Revenge

John

Gentle Breeze

Hot Air Balloon above

It's occupants gliding with the gulls'

A hissing aberrance contrary to their hang gliding silence'

Like an airborne ute, gas filters through their lungs and they sway away

The occupants cackle in jest and admire the view below

A Southerly suddenly and unexpectedly responds in anger

Blown far out to sea, land vacant to the eyesight

Gas low, screaming in fright

Crew members argue and fight

Dusk arrives and it's the end of their lives

As the gulls return and pick out their eyes

    Electricity gives shock,
    Trains meet with accidents,
    Planes also crash,
    Cars, scooters and bikes
    Also may bring death,
If humans follow the right way
    And act as per conscience,
    Accidents can be averted,
    Modernity always has dangers,
    So, we must cooperate
With nature in a proper way !
