Suitcases at the Louvre: A Modern Tale

GeekSusie

In galleries where art does gleam,

Folks lug their bags, or so it seems.

With suitcases large and backpacks tight,

They roam through exhibits, a curious sight.

"Why leave them behind?" they ponder with glee,

"As I view this sculpture, my luggage views me!"

Down ancient hallways, they drag with a clatter,

Amidst timeless art, but what does it matter?

Each painting and statue, they keenly inspect,

With their hefty bags, showing utmost respect.

For who needs to travel light, swift, and neat,

When you've got a suitcase dragging at your feet?

Through crowded rooms, they weave and they squeeze,

Their luggage in tow, as if it’s a breeze.

It's not just a visit, but a full-on parade,

With bags that have seen better days, I'm afraid.

So next time you're at a museum, do take a glance,

At the luggage-toting visitors, lost in a trance.

For in their minds, it's perfectly clear,

Their bags are as welcome as the art they hold dear.
