When you are young

Norman Flagtea

When you are young

you sleep on the train,

you fall in love,

you bake bread,

you know five chords on the guitar,

you don't like Christmas,

you write letters,

you write poems,

you hitchhike,

you stay up all night,

you move house.

When you are young

you are vain,

you go to Mexico,

you sleep in a tent,

you have tonsilitis,

you drive a delivery truck,

you redecorate your room (yellow)

and you are able to be lonely.
